The board of Ramah Presbyterian Church Preschool met recently to determine whether we would be able to open in January.
The preschool's director, Alice Howerton, had communicated with the families to see how they felt about returning to preschool and to determine if we would have enough children enrolled to support the school. Everyone is being cautious due to the COVID-19 pandemic and trying to keep their family and friends healthy and well. Things are unclear for many of our families and we understand that they have to make difficult decisions right now. It was a difficult decision for the preschool too, and we wish it weren't necessary.
We will not open in January because we will not have enough children to fill the classrooms.
We will miss our students, their families, and our staff. We wish you all the best in the coming year.
We hope that we will see some of you returning in the fall of 2021.
We appreciate your understanding, your patience, and we pray that you all are staying healthy.
